rowl 2.0.1 adalah sebuah aplikasi yang berfungsi sebagai notifikasi atau memberikan konfirmasi dari segala kegiatan anda di internet,seperti misalnya : pemberitahuan dari file yang telah selesai didownload, teman yang sedang online, email yang baru saja masuk dan lain-lain. Anda bisa menggunakan suara Beepdan Baloon notifikasi yang akan muncul di system tray komputer setiap ada konfirmasi baru yang masuk.Gunakan aplikasi ini bila anda enggan masuk ke situs tertentu hanya untuk melihat email atau teman yang sedang online! Tampilan aplikasi Growl terdiri dari beberapa tab yang diwakili oleh icon masing-masing yakni : General, Application, Displays, Network, Security, History dan lainnya.
